New company - new horizons

5 Minute Network Ltd is a new Scottish company which will build online TV channels and create web-based and multi-platform content solutions for a variety of public and private sector clients.

We are also building TVTapas.com, a web and mobile-delivered network of channels, targeting affinity groups throughout the UK with credible, accredited content on demand. We are launching TVTapas in the new year with six channels initially:

LIFE – covering health, food & drink, hobbies, music/arts, fashion and sport.
WORK – looking at careers, skills, training, personal development, industry and charities.
MONEY – covers mortgages, loans, property, insurance, consumer affairs, tax and budgeting.
GO – looks at travel, transport and motoring.
GLOBE – highlights issues surrounding the environment, climate, weather, recycling and renewables.
ETC – Our entertainment offering – everything from a mini soap to stand up comedy and music

The content will be financed through sponsorship, AFP funding, pre and post-roll advertising and banner advertising on the various channel pages.

The 5 Minute Network website will be live soon, and we are talking to potential clients, sponsors and partners now. This joint operation will be based at Incorporated Media's Glasgow production centre in Hope street.
