Comedy Commission
The series will feature writing by new and established talent and the call has gone out for scripts and ideas. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to break into comedy and the multiplatform approach allows for a high level of exposure, publicity and feedback from audiences.

We are delighted to announce the latest commission for our tv division. 'Forward Slash Comedy' or /comedy is a sketch show with a big difference. stv's first new comedy venture for several years will be launched online and will grow its audience there before spinning off onto tv.
The project is a unique collaboration between STV’s digital and on-air channels, and this is the first time stv.tv has commissioned programme content specifically for distribution online, with a view to develop it for on-screen transmission on STV.
Selected scripts will be produced initially for stv online and the most popular sketches, as voted for by the public, will spin off onto TV.
